Responsibilities
- Administer and process employee benefit plans for the Minnesota region, including health, dental, vision, life, and retirement options.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Collaborate with payroll, HR, and external vendors to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Conduct benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations using the NPF Benefits portal.
- Prepare and deliver benefits communication materials and educational sessions.
- Analyze benefits utilization data to recommend cost‑effective improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience administering employee benefits, preferably in a multi‑state environment.
- Strong knowledge of Minnesota benefits regulations (e.g., MinnesotaCare, state disability insurance).
- Proficiency with HRIS/benefits platforms (Workday, ADP, or similar).
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
- SHRM‑CP or PHR certification is a plus.
