Responsibilities

  • Administer and process employee benefit plans for the Minnesota region, including health, dental, vision, life, and retirement options.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  • Collaborate with payroll, HR, and external vendors to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Conduct benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations using the NPF Benefits portal.
  • Prepare and deliver benefits communication materials and educational sessions.
  • Analyze benefits utilization data to recommend cost‑effective improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience administering employee benefits, preferably in a multi‑state environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Minnesota benefits regulations (e.g., MinnesotaCare, state disability insurance).
  • Proficiency with HRIS/benefits platforms (Workday, ADP, or similar).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
  • SHRM‑CP or PHR certification is a plus.
