Health Insurance Claims Analyst

Responsibilities

• Review and process health insurance claims in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Communicate with providers, members, and internal teams to resolve claim issues.
• Analyze claim data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the company's claims management system.
• Assist with audits and respond to regulatory inquiries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Business, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in health insurance claims processing or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Michigan health insurance regulations and HIPAA.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with claims software (e.g., Epic, Medisoft) and Microsoft Office Suite.
