Responsibilities
- Administer employee health, dental, vision, life, and disability benefit plans, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Coordinate with insurance carriers, brokers, and third‑party administrators to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain compliance with federal and Arizona state regulations (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, etc.).
- Develop and deliver benefits education sessions, webinars, and written communications for new hires and existing staff.
- Prepare regular benefits utilization reports, cost analyses, and recommendations for plan improvements.
- Assist in planning, executing, and post‑analysis of open enrollment periods.
- Support payroll integration for benefit deductions and ensure accurate data flow between HRIS and payroll systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience administering employee benefit programs.
- Strong knowledge of Arizona insurance regulations and federal benefits legislation.
- Proficiency with HRIS/benefits platforms such as Workday, ADP, Benefitfocus, or similar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee data.
