Insurance Broker - Commercial Lines

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a portfolio of commercial insurance clients across Minnesota.
• Assess client risk profiles and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
• Negotiate terms and premiums with carrier partners.
• Provide ongoing service, policy renewals, and claims support.
• Achieve quarterly sales targets and contribute to team goals.
• Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and product offerings.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial insurance brokerage or underwriting.
• Valid Minnesota insurance producer license (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency with agency management systems (e.g., Applied Epic, AMS360) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field preferred.
