Insurance Claims Adjuster

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and settle insurance claims in accordance with company policies and state regulations.
• Interview claimants, witnesses, and third parties to gather accurate information.
• Document findings, prepare detailed reports, and recommend appropriate settlement amounts.
• Collaborate with attorneys, medical professionals, and other specialists as needed.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Tennessee insurance laws and industry best practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance claims handling or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with claims management software (e.g., Guidewire, ClaimCenter) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid Tennessee driver’s license and reliable transportation.
