Responsibilities

  • Investigate and evaluate insurance claims to determine coverage and liability.
  • Interview claimants, witnesses, and other parties involved.
  • Collect, review, and analyze documentation, photographs, and police reports.
  • Prepare detailed reports and recommend claim settlements.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, attorneys, and external vendors as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with state regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in claims adjusting, insurance, or related industry.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with claims management software (e.g., Guidewire, Xactimate) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and ability to travel within the state.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., AIC, CPCU) are a plus.
