Insurance Claims Adjuster

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and process insurance claims in a timely and accurate manner.
• Communicate with policyholders, claimants, and third‑party service providers to gather necessary documentation.
• Determine coverage eligibility and recommend appropriate claim settlements.
• Maintain detailed records of claim activities in the company’s management system.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in property & casualty claims adjusting.
• Strong knowledge of North Carolina insurance regulations and policies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with claims management software (e.g., Guidewire, Xactimate).
• Ability to work independently and manage a high‑volume workload.
• Associate’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
