Responsibilities
- Review, evaluate, and process life insurance claims in accordance with company policies and state regulations.
- Conduct investigations, gather documentation, and interview claimants or beneficiaries as needed.
- Communicate claim decisions clearly and compassionately to policyholders and their families.
- Maintain accurate claim files and update the claims management system daily.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in life insurance claims handling or a related insurance role.
- Valid Illinois Life & Health Insurance Adjuster license (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with claims management software (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
