Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and settle property and casualty insurance claims for clients in Maryland.
• Conduct on‑site inspections, interview claimants and witnesses, and gather supporting documentation.
• Determine coverage eligibility, calculate loss amounts, and negotiate settlements in accordance with company guidelines and state regulations.
• Maintain accurate claim files and enter data into the claims management system.
• Provide exceptional customer service, keeping claimants informed throughout the process.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a licensed insurance adjuster (property & casualty preferred).
• Valid Maryland insurance adjuster license or ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with claims software (e.g., Xactimate, Guidewire) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel within Maryland for field inspections.
