Medical Claims Analyst

Responsibilities

• Review and process Medicare and health insurance claims accurately and efficiently.
• Verify patient eligibility, coverage, and required documentation.
• Communicate with healthcare providers, members, and internal teams to resolve claim discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
• Generate and maintain detailed reports on claim status, trends, and performance metrics.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Business, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in medical claims processing or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare regulations, CPT/HCPCS coding, and insurance policies.
• Proficiency with claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
